Raised in a small town near East Lansing, Mr. Ash went to Michigan State University where he received a BA in Business Administration in 1985. He worked for Michigan National Corporation where he discovered a desire for the law. Mr. Ash graduated from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 1993. During law school, he gained valuable experience clerking for three Circuit Court Judges: Honorable Alice Gilbert; Honorable Robert Anderson; and Honorable Rudy Nichols. Upon graduation, Mr. Ash started his firm which today is Ash & Ash Legal Group. His connection to the judges allowed continued service to the court as an appointed lawyer. Ash quickly gained litigation skills in and out of trial. These skills and his passion for strategic planning caused him to excel in family law and able to handle your divorce, or family law case with love, forgiveness, and integrity.

His wife, Patricia Ash recently formed a financial company, Ash Financial Group, LLC in 2015. He and his wife are the principals. Mr. Ash discovered that financial planning provides clients with a significant advantage in divorce. My goal is ‘significance’. It starts with a firm conviction to serve. Overcoming adversity leads to character and integrity. Complex family litigation requires someone You can TRUST. I listen, encourage, counsel and advise truthfully using a sound strategy for You as my client. Achieving significance requires taking a stand for what is right, which has improved the future for many of my clients, their children, and families.
